We traveled from Myrdal to Flam on the Flam railway. This electric train descends from Myrdal at a gradient of 1:18 making it one of the steepest descents in the world (for a train). The train travels 12 miles through many tunnels stopping occasionally for passengers to photograph the spectacular views. The ride takes ~50 minutes.
