Harvest moon as seen from Foster City.  I used the Nikon D80 camera with 80-400mm lens and Tamron 1.4X extender. October, 26  at ~6:45 PM.

Last shot of the series.  The moon was so bright it reflected very nicely on the water.  Two exposures were merged in Photoshop, one for the moon and once for the water.

I used a Tamron SP AF 1.4X  teleconverter coupled to the Nikon 80-400 VR lens on a Nikon D70s.  The lens was mounted on a carbon fiber tripod. The Tamron TC works great and allows AF to work on the 80-400 lens.  This setup is equivalent to an 840mm lens in 35mm film!  
Note:  The moon is not this big in the viewfinder, I cropped some of the dark sky from the original picture.
